Basically, every content published on my photography platforms, YouTube and this website, is protected by copyright. This means that if you want to use these contents, you need to ask for permission. Exceptions exist for:

  • Archiving, e.g. with the help of a time machine
  • Photos or videos are stored for private and internal purposes, such as wallpapers or calendar photos. These photos may only be seen by yourself and people living with you. This means that you must not use the media for profile photos.
  • Contents explicitly marked for being reused. 
  • Contents made by someone else who gave me the permission to use it. If you want to use these contents for any kind, including these mentioned above, you have to ask the author.

A copyright violation will in first place cause a request to remove the affected content, this request might also be published. If you do not comply with this request, it might become expensive.

If you wish to use one or several of my contents, such an enquiry can be done by email. Remember to name your purposes and reasons in your message. As it is always an individual case assessment, I cannot tell you in advance whether your enquiry will be successful.

I basically so not sell any of my contents. This does not restrict me from giving media to pools like train or bus companies, societies or publishing houses.

 

Advertising

On my pictures it is inevitable that you see the producers' logos of the vehicles photographed. These are neither paid nor unpaid advertising. It is my decision, which picture will be published when and in which kind. Sometimes, my audience can influence this by stating wishes. A further external influence does not take place.

Occasionally, brands will be linked in my photos. This is advertising neither but gives you the possibility to get to know more about these brands. These links are not influenced by the linked brands.

I'm never paid for my photos, videos and texts. Exceptions apply according to the end of the last paragraph.

My website and social media channels are not an advertising column. Please so not contact me asking me to post some advertising for you. Exceptions may apply regarding other social media channels or websites that have the same topic as mine.

 

Disclaimer

You can find some tips and recommendations on how to improve your photos or videos on this website. If you wish to put them into practice, you always do so on your own risk. If you are insecure whether it might get dangerous, better forgo doing it. In specific, trespassing on railway grounds (such as old and/or abandoned tracks) can require some experience. Keep off used tracks. 

There is no liability for any kind of damage or injury. Further, there is no claim on that my recommendations will really work out the way they are expected to.

Keep in mind my security measures (translation is approx. following in June or July 2020).

There is no liability for the content of linked pages - it is always at the owner's risk. If you should find a link bringing you to a website with offending, illegal or paid content or content that might be morally damaging to juveniles, please contact me immediately, so I'm able to delete the affected link.

 

Allusions to Nazi vocabulary 

At some points there can be allusions to Nazi vocabulary (e.g. "SS-Bahn" instead of "S-Bahn" for fast urban rail services). These would be a criminal offence according to §86a StGB. I would like to inform that these allusions do not depict any relationship to right-wing extremism for my part. They are meant as irony in debate about these types of extremism. Ironic and sarcastic allusions are to be considered as a piece of art and thus are legal according to §86 Part 3 StGB. The democracy is the best thing that ever happened in Germany and is to be preserved permanently.

Please do not contact me in order to start a discussion or argument about my political opinion. Such messages will be deleted with any further reaction.

Netiquette

In most of the cases, you have got the possibility of commenting my contents. Regarding this, freedom of speech and freedom and diversity of opinions have a very high importance to me. Nevertheless, please stock to the following rules:

  • Try to keep criticism constructive and factual. I love to get criticism but it will only help me if it is really constructive and not offensive.
  • Do not exaggerate with the use of punctuation marks and emojis.
  • You comment should make sense. Single letters, numbers or random combinations do not make sense.
  • So not write the same over and over again
  • Your comment must be in accordance with the German laws.
  • Advertising is only allowed in individual cases; there will be a case-by-case review. Advertising that seems like having no connection to the  actual topic will be removed anyway.
  • Spelling mistakes may happen, this is absolutely fine. Further, I'm happy if someone spots a mistake I myself have done.But please still pay attention to your spelling and, if need be, check difficult words in a dictionary.

Every comment reaching me will be read and checked. I definitely noticed you, even if I show no reaction. In case I checked a comment and spotted an infringement (maybe I will ask another person to have a look at the comment), you will be asked to remove the affected comment. If you so not do so (or the platform where you wrote your comment does not support this action), I will do so. repeated infringements can cause a blocking.
